This beautiful acrylic on canvas, accented with oil pastel, was created in Toronto Studio 202 alongside my dad who has been living with Alzheimer’s. This year we were able to get him back into the studio more regularly so he could paint and draw. Each piece is a full expression of colour, joy and movement. The art celebrates the time we were able to share together over the past year. A symbol of healing, after the loss of my dad’s wife (my mother) and best friend for the past 53 years. A portion of the sales from each piece goes towards the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada and future care for Richard.
